Dining experience @ 1881 Chong Tian Cultural Hotel 中天楼

This Thursday night, with the glowing prospect of Friday ahead in our mind, we visited 1881 Chong Tian Cultural Hotel for dinner... a very relaxing night indeed.

The restaurant is attached to the hotel, it looks ancient and nyonya.
The wall is painted with sharp blue and scarlet to make it vividly stood out. It was decorated with gold statue , nyonya-style ancient furnitures, bamboo trees... we can hear some good old oldies like 甜蜜蜜、Have I told you lately etc playing in the background... softly but still audible. Good ambience :)
It has a pond at the middle of the restaurant, and it opens up to a 天井 up to 3-stories high. So it is open-air, or to be precise, semi open-air. I said this because there are several portable air-con lurking at the corner.
This reminds me of 姜太公钓鱼.
 Ishh... sugar crunch again..
The appetizer - creamy wild mushroom with cheese croutons.
Lemon juice to quench the thirst.
 Cheers! :)
The main course arrived - barbeque pork rib, well-seasoned.
 Mine - grilled salmon.
Forgot to take the photo of dessert - until he reminds me.. too late, only last mouthful left... @.@

After meal, we explored the other area of the restaurant as well...

In overall, the food is good. The environment is quiet and peaceful... though it is quite hot and stuffy inside.
